Township Supervisor Duties:
Cedar Creek Township government operates under specific state statues. The township supervisor has duties and responsibilities listed under those statues.
Generally speaking, the supervisor represents the township at state, county, and local levels. The supervisor moderates township board meetings and is generally responsible for managing the township affairs and contracts. The supervisor is secretary to the Board of Review, serves as the township legal agent and appoints some commission members.
The supervisor also develops the township budget, and has oversight responsibilities for the fire department, building department, zoning and ordinance enforcement, cemetary, and general operational matters.
