The August & November Township Board Meetings have been scheduled
for the first Thursday of the month at 6:30pm instead of the first Tuesday.

Cedar Creek Township Hall Cedar Creek Township is located on the northeastern side of Wexford County. The township surrounds the City of Manton. It is approximately 10 miles north of Cadillac and 35 miles southeast of Traverse City. The most recent census states the population of Cedar Creek township as 1,554 people.The population growth rate from 1990 to 2000 was 38% making Cedar Creek township the fastest growing township in Wexford County. Winter in Cedar Creek Township

Manton Consolidated Schools serves as the school district for children in Cedar Creek. There is an active Senior Center in the City of Manton. Cedar Creek Township has historically been a rural community. It is probably most famous for it's fine whitetail deer hunting. There is some industry in the Manton area though many of Cedar Creek's residents are employed in industry in Cadillac, or Traverse City. Cedar Creek Township is a proud community, proud of its heritage and looking forward to its future. Our challenge is to keep the rural beauty of the community while we face continued growth. The involvement of citizens is important. Our residents contribute their talents, skills, and ideas to help preserve and improve the quality of life.
